Ecotourism & Accommodation

A Private Bushveld Escape
Lekkerbreek Boerdery is a private nature reserve in the Waterberg, near Thabazimbi, offering space, silence and an authentic bushveld experience. Surrounded by mountains and shaped by varied terrain, the farm feels remote and protected - a place where nature sets the pace.

The landscape ranges from mountain ridges and foothills to open plains, with parts of the farm bordering the Crocodile River. This diverse topography supports exceptional biodiversity, including over 120 tree species and more than 130 bird species, making it a haven for nature lovers, photographers and eco-tourists.

Whether you are seeking stillness, adventure or a longer-term escape from city life, Lekkerbreek offers a setting where privacy, safety and natural beauty come together.

For guests interested in a deeper connection to farm life, there is an option to become part of a self-sustaining farming lifestyle, either actively or passively. This offers a unique opportunity to experience small-scale, nature-based living within a working farm environment.

Lekkerbreek Boerdery is more than a destination - it is a place to reconnect with nature, enjoy wide open spaces, and experience the bushveld in a quiet, respectful way. Whether for a weekend escape, extended stay or eco-focused lifestyle break, guests are invited to make the land their own, even if just for a while.
